This is my second time I have needed help from Mr Bell. The first time I had problems with a failed reconstruction on my ACL, which he dealt with swiftly and effectively, at all times keeping me fully briefed / aware of what was happening and what the outcome(s) could be. I was not happy about having further problems with the same knee some 5 years later but Mr Bell was reassuring and clear about the possible way forwards and I Ieft the consultation with a much more positive outlook.

I was seen by Mr Bell today after a new knee which he replaced in March of this year. Throughout the whole process from the initial consultation to my knee being replaced to the aftercare I am now receiving Mr Bell has been kind, caring and patient and most importantly was successful in the operation he performed. I would not hesitate to recommend Mr Bell.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dr Bell. Dr Bell has operated on me twice in the last ten years, and both times he's been just as professional, personable, helpful, knowledgeable and as reassuring as possible. He always listens, keeps you fully informed, is realistic with timescales, and importantly, is very approachable. Equally, he understands and emphasises with your circumstances, so is always sympathetic to what you are going through. Dr Bell is also respectful of your situation, so will adapt any follow-up treatments (eg physio) to your needs and make it work for you as much as possible. I know 2 other people who Dr Bell has also operated on, and independently of them knowing that I was also being operated on by him, they recommended him to me - always a good sign!

Very professional with plenty of time given for follow up appointments. It would be helpful to have a note in advance of possible side effects and associated short term problems following procedures- all my questions and concerns were answered during the consultation but a note of "normal" problems would be beneficial.
